3.2 Poetry Slam

This year we were invited to take part in a poetry with local schools to complete on our performance poetry skills. We attended a lunchtime club with Miss McFetridge and wrote a poem of our choice. Some wrote a poem on teachers, maths, friendship, siblings and other family members. We wrote free verse rhyming poems, most of them being humorous!

We then performed them at Washwood Heath School on a stage with four other schools. Everybody had different styles and it was interesting to watch.
